It also provides financial and strategic advisory services in mergers and acquisitions operations, including sales, or acquisition processes of companies and assets, mergers, fundraising from investors, creation of strategic partnerships and privatizations; and capital market services. In addition, the company offers insurance products, such as life and guarantee; and operates as energy trader. The company was formerly known as Banco Roma de Investimentos and changed its name to Banco ABC Brasil S.A. in 1997. The company was incorporated in 1983 and is headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil. Banco ABC Brasil S.A. operates as a subsidiary of Marsau Uruguay Holdings SA.
